WebMay 2, 2024 · DS stuck on a White screen I charged an old DL lite after it laid unused for a long time, and when I powered it back on, the screen froze on a blank white right after the first splash screen (the one with the DS logo). Make sure that the cable is inserted far enough, thick part of the cable (dark brown) pushed in to be level with the white line marked on the circuit board. WebSep 9, 2014 · You should check if the ribbon cable's loose for the top screen, if it's actually ripped instead of loose, go ahead and order a new top screen, and triwing screwdriver if you don't have one, then go through some screen replacement tutorials. Either that or fork over $60 if your DS isn't under warranty... In the first case, just tear the console open using this guide and reconnect the ribbon cable of the upper LCD. Otherwise it’s best to replace the upper screen, you can find them for quite cheap on Amazon or eBay. We have a guide for that here.
