Or increase the pin lenght to 150 and make the body wider by 100 mil (50 in each direction) I could also increase the pin size to at least 135 which would mean the body can be at most 130mil wide. WebIf you're needing a generic 2x5 pin male header, check the KiCad libraries. It should work fine. However, if you're using a more eclectic part, you may be better off creating the footprint from scratch. Even if the KiCad libraries contain the part, you'll want to check it against the datasheet very closely and do a one to one test print.
WebYou can also press the E key to edit all symbol attributes, with one of them being the footprint. You're going to have to dig through the libraries to find what you want. If you want male pins, the default naming in the libraries is pin header.
