I tried scheduling an at home sleep study at my local hospital, but since it would be billed as outpatient, I'd have to pay something like $1,300 out of pocket before my insurance would cover 80% of the rest. You can get all the necessary information from Lofta after your test (script, test results - you do have to ask them though for the raw data), and depending on who your insurance provider is, you should be able to work with them to get a CPAP/APAP covered - Lofta will not do that for you..
