I have the Massdrop Cavalli Tube Hybrid downstairs but haven’t listened to them side-by-side yet. Maybe that’s my next thing to do this weekend. With solid state amps it sounds crisp, but with a nice layer of velvet smoothness. Tube amps (hybrids count here too) just add more gooey magic to an already great sounding DAC.

WebIt's a company with great support, quality and transparency in what they do who also have continually made improvements to the Element/Dac/Amp But if you mix and match their high end with low end or some of their cheaper stuff it doesn't match in terms of looks.
Web14 de abr. de 2024 · There was a brief drop a few weeks ago that added a Grace DAC (another Massdrop branded item) built in. I didn't pay super close attention because I already bought one of the first drop without the DAC, and I pair mine with the Chord Hugo and Hugo TT, which are better DACs.

If I remember correctly, the LED change only affects the drain rates of the battery. Since it is a desktop design, it should not affect the performance. Also, they didn't change the board design, only connected the changed connectors using cables.
