WebNov 7, 2024 · Go into Orbx FTX Central / Setings / Configure FTX Global Vector / Airport Elevation Corrections / Where it says AEC is enabled for - Enter KDFW and highlight KDFW in the box below, then press disable and then apply. That fixed all my elevation issues with airports and Orbx. I'm very impressed by this scenery especially the detailed models outside the airport (TrueValue Distribution Center etc). Cannot wait for their next project.

Since that tool is gone is there something else I can do to solve that problem? It is a problem where the terrain at many airports is not flattened and so runways are covered with hills. Orbx's Airport Elevation Correction (AEC) tool will fix many of them and you can manually fix them too.
