As far as the scope is concerned, unless you just have to have something from Belarus or Russia, you can do a lot better with your $270 if you don't need an illuminated reticle. Numerous western scopes in that price range with better glass, better turrets, and a lifetime warranty. Flip the mount upside down and loosen the nut. Try mounting without the swing bar locked. You may have to loosen more or tighten to get it right.
