It works, measures correctly and it's hard to spoof especially when validated, which this doesn't need. Remember to double the reported clock rate for DDR - double data rate - RAM. CPU-Z is reporting DDR3-2133 just as you expect. Jeff. Webb6 feb. 2024 · As title states my brand new 64GB of G.Skill ram shows as 2133MHz despite being 3600MHz CL16 ones. They are on the qvl of my Asus Crosshair VIII Hero X570 mobo. which i run with my Ryzen 3950X. Whole build is new. Why is this happening - and do i just change it in BIOS or how do i get them to run as they should? New to building. Thanks. The problem that you are experiencing is caused by the fact that HP in not adding Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) to their BIOS/UEFI. They use the standard JEDEC's. WebbI did this at the same time I reseated the ram so I figured it was reseating the RAM that did it but maybe it was this. Instead of going to 3200 right away, go in as small increments as you can. Set 2133, be sure that boots. Restart then go in the next smallest increment, 2400 for me not sure if asrock is different. Just be sure it boots each time. WebbI tried reseating the ram. I made sure it was in the correct slots. I tried removing the CMOS battery (many times), because doing so would allow me to reach bios, where I tried setting the ram at various speeds. I tried setting it at the recommended XMP setting, I tried setting it to 3600, I tried even running it at the default 2133.
