WebMay 22, 2024 · To TEST if this is a PHONE issue, simply connect a different WORKING phone in place of the current phone and CHECK for a CLEAR dial tone (no screeching) then TRY to make an OUTGOING call (to see if it can be done successfully). If that outgoing call is successful, then have someone call - to see if the phone rings and the call can be picked up.

If the Blue LED comes on the ooma-hub box, you should at least be able to originate a call and find out if the sound is clean again.
